In July 2021, Lotus unveiled their first brand new production sportscar for more than a decade, the Lotus Emira. The Emira ushers in a fresh direction for the iconic British manufacturer under the new ownership of Geely with the goal of remaining true to Chapmans original philosophy “Simplify, then add lightness” whilst at the same time attempting to reach a broader and more mainstream market of sportscar buyer.

Initially powered by a Toyota derived 3.5 litre Supercharged V6, a 2.0 litre turbo Mercedes power unit is due to be available in the near future along with a dual clutch automatic transmission.
