In December 2012, Audi released the details of their latest hyper estate and flagship RS model to emerge from Ingolstadt, the C7 RS6 Avant. Given the undisputed success of the previous 2 generations of their most potent RennSport offering, Audi carefully maintained all the legendary ingredients from the monumental C6 car whilst combining them with their latest technology and know-how to create the sensational C7 RS6.
While the engine may have lost 2 cylinders, the twin turbo V8 not only gained in usable low end torque versus its predecessor but also reduced the gross weight of the car allowing it to be a more scintillating driving experience.
